VCOM-Virginia Campus

VCOM's first campus is a collaborative partnership between VCOM and Virginia Tech. VCOM is accredited to confer the degree of Doctor of Osteopathic medicine.

Opening in 2003 in Virginia Tech's corporate research park, the main campus building features a state-of-the-art anatomy lab. Its Simulation and Technology Center, which opened in 2008, houses high-fidelity human medical simulators, simulated surgical and intensive care suites, and simulated radiology experiences. 

This campus has an affiliated teaching clinic with student rotations, including the Sports and Osteopathic Medicine Clinic, which also sponsors ONMM3 residenciessports medicine fellowships, and research programs.

The Center for One Health on the main Virginia Tech campus is a grant-funded research lab for collaborating biomedical faculty from VCOM and the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine.

 

Each year, the College admits 185medical students per class, for a total student body of 700.
